Theme: Splits & Gift of Patience

There are things that you can't force.
"Splits" is definitely one of them.

You can't force your body to do things that they are not ready for (yet).


Flexibility and mobility require lots of patience and effort (much more than muscle building).

It can be dauting as the results can be still very subtle after all the work you put in.


It's a lot to do with muscle imbalances, past injuries, and our body/bone structures.

We all have different lengths, shapes, and sizes of bones, and how these bones meet each other at each joint can affect mobility and movement.

By working on split poses, you will really develop some deep understanding and respect for your own body, your current abilities, and your own struggles, and also for your current place in life (yes, you can always take the learning off the mat as well).

You will learn to be patient.

Don't expect immediate results.
You don't have to be able to split perfectly by the end of the month.

I'm not expecting that at all. I hope this can be the beginning of something good.
Transformations happen when you consistently work on your body (and your mind).

This month, we're working on these split poses. No worries, modifications are always available.
