The November focus is “to practice for the love of practicing“.

Why do you practice yoga?
What motivates you to practice yoga?

There are lots of benefits yoga can bring you.
But can we focus more on the feeling and mental aspect this month?

Always remember, “Our bodies are not a problem to be overcome.”

You can’t touch your toes?
Can’t bend backward?
Not able to get into that challenging pose?

No problem at all. I have so many I can’t.

Everyone’s body is different.
Our body structures – shapes, sizes, and length of our bones are different.
Each of us has different backgrounds – injuries and health issues.

And simply we’re all on our own journey at our own pace.

Avoid the comparison and attachment to the ideas of how it’s supposed to be or how poses are supposed to look like.
Instead, enjoy what you can do right now and feel it all.

Have faith that you know what to do and how to do it.
Have faith in the person you’re becoming.

Observe your thoughts as you move into and hold each pose and also during transitions between.

There is nothing to achieve, no need to push yourself beyond your edge.

Practice for the love of practicing.

We’re working on simple flows without any goal/peak poses this month.

  • 11/2: Simple Flow
  • 11/9: Backbend Flow
  • 11/16: Standing Balance Flow
  • 11/30: Forward Bend Flow
